The responsibility of enterprises towards the environment is extremely important to facilitate the integration process and strong industrial development. Promoting the effectiveness of the production and business motto associated with environmental protection, S&S Glove Corporation has been implementing production and trading activities of environmentally friendly nitrile gloves, along with implementing measures to handle and resolve maximum pressure on the environment.
As a business founded on the desire to protect public health, S&S Glove is aware of the huge impact of the environment on human health. And at the same time, every thought and every action of people contributes significantly to “Mother Nature”.
S&S Glove factory in Ba Ria – Vung Tau province has been applying a modern biomass boiler system, with a total capacity of 36 Gcal/h and an efficiency of 85% using Biomass fuel, helping the factory save billions of VND in fuel costs every year and minimize greenhouse gas emissions into the environment. The main energy source for the factory’s production activities comes from agricultural and forestry waste such as rice husks, bagasse, coconut shells, sawdust, firewood, wood, etc. to create a heat source for the production of nitrile gloves, reducing the use of fossil fuels and minimizing greenhouse gas emissions into the environment.
S&S Glove’s manufacturing plant has a professional wastewater treatment system, removing harmful impurities before discharging them into the environment and reusing up to 50% of the wastewater from the factory, minimizing pressure on the environment.
One of S&S Glove’s top priorities is sustainable development. We are proud to bring customers biodegradable nitrile gloves, which are widely used in the medical, healthcare and dental fields as well as more difficult jobs such as laboratories, industry, etc. When nitrile gloves biodegrade in the natural environment, they will decompose into small pieces over time. The degradation time of the gloves will depend on environmental conditions, but will usually be within 6 months to 2 years. In addition, the rate of biodegradation also depends on temperature, humidity and the presence of other organic substances. However, in general, nitrile gloves will take from 1 to 5 years to completely biodegrade. Nitrile gloves after decomposition will become carbon dioxide, water vapor and organic matter, which can be used as fertilizer for plants.
Spreading and strongly responding to the spirit of “Green Glove – Green Life”, members of the S&S Glove family always try to minimize the use of disposable plastic products in daily life, finding “green solutions” to the impact of plastic waste on the natural environment and our health. In addition, to contribute to adding “green” to the working space, S&S Glove regularly organizes emulation programs between employees on the topic of limiting plastic waste, participating in tree planting and afforestation events organized by the company in conjunction with localities.
